I contribute to the team with expertise on biological and bio-inspired materials. Methods for materials characterization and mechanical testing, e.g. by x-ray scattering, electron microscopy, micromechanics, nanoindentation etc.
I am motivated by curiosity and inspiring scientific discussions with colleagues and students.
My favourite moment in the office/lab is after a sleepless night at a synchrotron large scale facility, when the data suddenly seem to make sense 🙂
