I contribute to the team with expertise in yeast biotechnology, protein folding and secretion, systems and synthetic biology of my favourite yeast Komagataella phaffii, and a strong interest in organelles.
I am motivated by being able to contribute with science to a better and more sustainable world, wanting to elucidate the content of organelles in more detail and make use of this for more efficient and sustainable microbial processes.
My favourite moment in the office/lab is when one of my students or Postdocs comes with exciting new data and when I read or hear something and suddenly pieces fall together.
