I contribute to the team with expertise in energy and resource economics, systemic approaches inspired by economic equilibria thinking, energy and land-use system modeling, decarbonization technologies and an understanding of climate neutrality pathways.
I am motivated by learning in an interdisciplinary setting by engaging with inspiring researchers; by stumbling upon new ideas to explore in my research; by getting students to engage in a lively discussion; by entering a flow-like state during coding.
My favourite moment in the office/lab is when a meeting is productive and I can see that we move forward together; when I have sufficient time to really polish some piece of code or a paper; when a large simulation run does not crash.
